Displaying more than 200 images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh in Vinh City

Practically commemorating the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020) and summarizing 4 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo (12th tenure) on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", implementing the direction of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Nghe An province, on the morning of May 18, at Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho's Statue, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Museum to organize the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Sketches of Portrait".

At the opening ceremony, comrade Vu Manh Ha - Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum affirmed: President Ho Chi Minh is a genius leader of our Party and people, a great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, a national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural figure who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, for freedom, democracy, peace and social progress.

He represents the character and mettle of the Vietnamese people. His ideology, morality and style are the crystallization of the best values ​​of national tradition with the quintessence of human culture.

The thematic exhibition “Ho Chi Minh - Sketches of Portraits” gathers over 200 images and documents, some of which are introduced and displayed for the first time. Through different perspectives on his life, career and personality, it depicts the image of a great leader, devoted and selfless, dedicating his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the nation.

His noble personality has created great human values, spreading strongly in the hearts of every Vietnamese person and in the hearts of humanity.
