Central Youth Union trains environmental protection knowledge for Con Cuong youth

During June 20 and 21, students learned the following contents: Organic agriculture with environmental sanitation issues, the current status of organic agriculture in Vietnam and development trends, classification and treatment of organic waste on a household scale, building organic nutritional vegetable gardens, earthworm farming techniques and techniques for making biological bedding in livestock farming.

After learning the theory, students will visit environmental protection models in rural areas at Khe Ran community tourism village, Bong Khe commune and directly implement methods of classifying and processing organic waste at household scale such as mixing straw and manure from livestock and poultry.

The training session has raised awareness among union members and young people to understand the current situation of waste and environmental pollution, the necessity and effective ways to protect the environment. From there, it was deployed at grassroots union branches, forming environmental protection shock models such as: youth road, youth flower road, waste classification and treatment model, launching cleanup and treatment of rural waste... contributing to building Con Cuong into a bright spot of eco-tourism with a truly clean environment./.
