Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission attended the Great Unity Festival in Tan Ky

Towards the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020), on the afternoon of November 11, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, joined the Great Unity Festival with cadres and people of Van Giang hamlet, Nghia Thai commune, Tan Ky district. Van Giang Hamlet (Nghia Thai Commune, Tan Ky District) is a new hamlet merged from Giang Hamlet and Bai Da Hamlet. The hamlet has more than 300 households with more than 1,200 people, of which nearly 57% are Thai ethnic people.

In recent years, the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been implemented byVietnam Fatherland FrontLaunched, cadres and people in the hamlet united and agreed to actively invest in intensive production of rice and corn; at the same time, expanding the sugarcane growing area to nearly 35 hectares.

Many households in the hamlet have increased the scale of raising buffalo, cows, pigs, and chickens; especially, they have introduced some new animals such as frogs, soft-shell turtles, and eels. Thanks to that, the lives of people in the hamlet have been increasingly improved; the poverty rate in the hamlet is only 3.65%.

Along with economic development, people of all walks of life also unite and agree to contribute money and labor to build new rural areas, making the rural face of Van Giang hamlet increasingly prosperous; associated with taking care of building and spreading cultural and sports movements widely; continuing to maintain and promote the title of cultural village.

OrganizationNational Unity DayIn 2020, the cadres and people of Van Giang hamlet continued to set the determination to compete and carry out well the movements and campaigns launched by all levels; focusing on the movement of economic development, helping each other reduce poverty, building happy families; unanimously and unanimously building the hamlet to develop more and more.

Speaking at the festival, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission acknowledged and commended the efforts of the cadres and people of Van Giang hamlet who joined hands and united to develop the economy and build an increasingly better life.

Although it is a mountainous area with many difficulties, the average income per capita has reached 30 million VND/year; for many years in a row, the hamlet has had no third child and no social evils.

In the coming time, cadres and people in the hamlet need to continue to unite and work together to develop the economy, helping poor and near-poor households to rise up.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission hopes that the people of Van Giang hamlet will continue to unite to maintain security and order, and keep the hamlet meeting new rural standards.

On this occasion, the provincial delegation presented Van Giang hamlet with a picture of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton; presented 20 gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances and presented a Great Unity house to Mr. Lo Van Ngo's family.
