Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended the Great Solidarity Festival in Hung Nguyen, Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - Praising the results that people in the blocks and hamlets have achieved in the past time, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong hopes that people will continue to unite and strive to achieve new results in all aspects.
On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day, on the afternoon of November 18, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, returned to join in the joy of the National Great Unity Day inResidential area, hamlet 5, Hung Xuan commune, Hung Nguyen district.
Also attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches, and organizations, leaders of Hung Nguyen district, and a large number of people from hamlet 5, Hung Xuan commune.

Hamlet 5, Hung Xuan commune has a total natural land area of 97 hectares, with 264 households and 1,044 people. This is a mixed Catholic and non-Catholic area (Catholics account for nearly 30%), but the residential area always has a tradition of solidarity, hard work and production, favorable for the development of trade and services.
The hamlet has just been merged, the residential area includes both the area inside and outside the Ta Lam dike, so there are still some difficulties in management, but thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, the hamlet has achieved many important results last year. Average income per capita reached 39 million VND/year; the number of rich and well-off households increased, the number of poor households decreased to 1.1%. Cultural and spiritual life continued to be improved.

Speaking at the festival, praising the achievements that the cadres and people of Hamlet 5 have achieved in the past year, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Huong suggested that the residential area continue to promote and effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", continue to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, complete the construction of new rural areas, improve the quality of criteria so that all people can benefit; improve the quality of life both materially and spiritually for the people, truly become a model residential area in the countryside...
On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented the people of the hamlet with 5 photos of "Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" and a gift worth 5 million VND. In addition, 10 gifts were also given to encourage poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, and policy families in the area.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong also planted a souvenir tree at the office of Hung Xuan commune and donated 40 million VND from the province's fund for the poor to build a solidarity house for Mr. Nguyen Van Son's family in hamlet 5, a poor household with especially difficult circumstances and a serious illness.

Located near Vinh University, with a population of nearly 600 people, Block 6 is truly a bright spot in Ben Thuy Ward. People in the block have united and helped each other to sustainably reduce poverty. 162 households have actively participated in the economic development competition. All families have stable lives (90% of families have houses with 2 floors or more, 40% of families have cars).
Families unite to build a cultural lifestyle, actively care for their children's education, and unite to do a good job of protecting the environment. People well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, and village and neighborhood relationships are increasingly strengthened...
Speaking at the festival, delighted with the fact that the block has maintained the title of Cultural Unit for the past 20 years, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department hopes that Block 6 will continue to maintain its role as a model residential block, promote solidarity and cohesion to carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; strive to make the block more beautiful, cleaner, with no more traffic jams during rush hours, and at the same time no social evils, loss of security and order, ensuring the environment.
