Posthumously awarding the 'Brave Youth' badge to a Police Lieutenant who died while on duty

Authorized by the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, comrade Thai Minh Sy - Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Student Association, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council and the working delegation visited, encouraged the family and posthumously awarded the Brave Youth badge to Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien.

Previously, on the evening of August 6, 2021, while on duty to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic at the epidemic control checkpoint in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien (born in 1995, an officer of the Security Team,Quynh Luu District Police) unfortunately had an accident.

Although he was treated wholeheartedly by his teammates, doctors and people, his injuries were too severe and he died.

(Baonghean.vn) - The victim was identified as Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien of the Security Team of Quynh Luu District Police (Nghe An) and is currently on duty at a Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control checkpoint in Quynh Van commune.

That same night, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, representatives of the functional departments of the Provincial Police promptly arrived at the scene to direct the investigation of the incident, and at the same time shared the pain and loss with the family.

On August 7, Quynh Luu District Police coordinated with local Party Committees, authorities and family to solemnly organize a memorial service for Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien according to People's Police protocol and local customs.

To promptly share the family's grief, the National Assembly Delegation - Provincial People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and agencies, departments of the province and Quynh Luu district also came to burn incense and encourage relatives to overcome this grief to continue to strive for life.
