Honoring typical advanced women in Nghe An

On the morning of May 12, in Vinh city, the Women's Union of Nghe An province held a conference on typical examples in the patriotic emulation movement of the Provincial Women's Union, period 2015 - 2020. Implementing the patriotic emulation movement launched by all levels, in the period of 2015 - 2020, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has had many innovations in content and methods of operation, creatively applied and organized many movements, with rich and practical emulation content.

In particular, emulation movements at all levels of the Association are linked to the political goals and tasks of each level, each sector, agency, unit, and locality, especially the emulation movement to build new rural areas, helping each other develop the economy;Women actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; discipline and creativity for national security...

Accordingly, women in districts, cities and towns actively implement the programs "Warm Tet - Loving Spring"; "Turning waste into health insurance cards, savings books, and breeding animals"; "Women join hands to ensure food safety"; "Women build families with 5 no's, 3 clean's, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"...

The Women's Union at all levels also promotes emulation movements and solutions to support women to escape poverty effectively and sustainably.

For female cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, actively respond to the movement "Good at public work, good at home"; the movement to build a team of cadres and civil servants "Loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary"...

Women in armed forces units are active in the movements of “Solidarity, creativity, equality for border security and sovereignty”; “Good military kitchen, good management”; the needs of members, contributing to improving the spiritual and material life of members.

In 5 years, through the movement "Turning waste into health insurance cards, savings books, and breeding animals", 21 districts, cities, and towns have presented 455 health insurance cards; 125 savings books; and nearly 3,000 breeding animals of all kinds to poor members.

In the movement to build new rural areas, women's associations at all levels have carried out nearly 2,000 projects and tasks, such as flower roads; model roads; clean production economic models; waste collection... In 5 years, the whole province has had more than 5,000 women-headed households escape poverty.

Continue to effectively implement emulation movements

Based on the summary of the emulation movement in the period of 2015 - 2020, the Provincial Women's Union continues to launch the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2020 - 2025 with key and specific movements. Including the movements "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families"; "Build families with 5 no's, 3 clean's"; "Women practice moral qualities, self-confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility" associated with the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed that the image of Vietnamese women with the 8 golden words "Heroic, indomitable, loyal, and responsible" awarded by Uncle Ho, has been promoted by all levels of Nghe An Women's Union, continuing to be trained according to the 4 qualities "Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsible".

The activities of Women's Unions at all levels and the women's movement to participate in all aspects of social life in recent times have positively contributed to the overall achievements of the province.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also hopes that in the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels of Nghe An, typical collectives and individuals will continue to promote the achievements that have been made, join hands, unite, and strive to bring the women's emulation movement to a new height, contributing with the Party Committee and people to build Nghe An province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming one of the prosperous provinces in the North as Uncle Ho wished during his lifetime.

At the conference, the Provincial Women's Union commended 112 typical collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2015 - 2020 and 52 typical individuals with many outstanding achievements in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
