(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 30, the delegation of Thai Hoa town leaders visited, expressed condolences and supported the families of 3 children who drowned in Hieu river, through Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town.

Sharing the pain and loss with the families of the 3 unfortunate victims, the delegation visited, encouraged and gave 12 million VND in support to the family of Mr. Tran Van Tinh and Ms. Phung Thi Huong, with 2 children, Tran Thi Kim Xuyen (born 2006) and Tran Van Luyen (born 2008) in Dong Tien hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune (Nghia Dan).
The delegation then visited, offered condolences, encouraged and gave 11 million VND in support to the family of Mrs. Ho Thi Vinh, whose granddaughter is Phung Thi Mai (born in 2011), the daughter of Mr. Phung Xuan Sang and Ms. Hoang Thi Vinh. Mr. Sang and Ms. Vinh are currently working in Dak Lak province, and have just returned home after receiving the bad news about their son.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Long Son Ward also supported incense money for the two families of the victims, each family with 2 million VND.
3 cousins missing while bathing in the river in Nghe An

The case of 3 cousins drowning: Nearly 100 people searched all night
(Baonghean.vn) - The search mobilized about 100 people including Rescue and Fire Prevention Team No. 3, Military Command, Thai Hoa Town Police, forces from Long Son and Quang Tien Ward People's Committees, and fishermen from Long Son Ward. In addition, there was coordination from rescue forces from Nghia Dan and Tan Ky districts and a team of professional divers mobilized by the Provincial Police and Provincial Military Command.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at around 3:00 p.m. on April 29, a group of five children, including Phan Thi Phuong Nhung, Phan Thi Phuong Vi and Phung Thi Mai, all residing in Block 4, Long Son Ward (Thai Hoa Town), along with Tran Thi Kim Xuyen and Tran Van Luyen, residing in Dong Tien Hamlet, Nghia Hoi Commune, Nghia Dan District, went swimming in Hieu River (the river section flowing through Block 4, Long Son Ward, Thai Hoa Town). Unfortunately, Mai, Xuyen and Luyen drowned. All three unfortunate children were cousins and their families were still in difficult circumstances.
