Over the past year, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, together with the Thai Hoa Town Police and departments, branches and organizations, have stepped up propaganda on the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, and measures on community reintegration for those who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their localities. They have effectively organized and implemented a campaign to mobilize the entire population to participate in managing, educating, reforming, and helping those who have completed their prison sentences. They have periodically organized meetings with people who have violated the law to educate, persuade, and sign commitments not to re-offend. In addition, they have disseminated experiences in production development, commended examples of people who have violated the law, actively trained, strived to become rich legitimately, and enthusiastically participated in the mass movement to protect national security so that people and people with past mistakes can raise their vigilance, actively participate in crime prevention and control, and contribute to ensuring national security and order in the area.

Thanks to that, many people after returning to their locality have been accepted to work in agencies and enterprises with stable lives and incomes; through a survey in Thai Hoa Town from 2008 to present, there are 427 people who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their local residence, currently 342 people have jobs... Thereby, people's awareness has been significantly raised, there are no longer attitudes of discrimination and alienation towards people with past mistakes, becoming useful people for society...

At the conference, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building the model "Eliminate inferiority complex, bring smiles, help people who make mistakes" were awarded by the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town.
