(Baonghean) -On September 4, 2013, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town received Official Dispatch No. 427 PC.BD/BNA from Nghe An Newspaper regarding the transfer of a petition from citizens of Hamlet 2, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town regarding the content: In Hamlet 2, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town, there is a fairly large area of land. Half of the land area was allocated to Mrs. Ho Thi Tri's family in 1975. In 1978, Mrs. Tri's family abandoned that land and arbitrarily moved to another location in the hamlet to live. Since then, the above land has been converted into a collective activity yard and managed by the people of Hamlet 2. In early August 2012, Mr. Minh, Mrs. Tri's son, arbitrarily poured concrete pillars and used barbed wire to fence more than half of the above area and the path of some households behind. The people of Hamlet 2 were very indignant and asked Mr. Minh to remove the barbed wire fence and the local government to clarify the above issue, but after many meetings, it has not been resolved yet.

After consideration and resolution, on October 21, 2013, Thai Hoa Town People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 601/UBND/TNMT to Nghe An Newspaper in response to the process of resolving the above case as follows:

Before receiving the official dispatch of Nghe An Newspaper, Thai Hoa Town People's Committee had received a complaint from the people of Hamlet 2, Nghia Thuan Commune. And Thai Hoa Town People's Committee had issued Official Dispatch 247/UBND-TTR assigning the Chairman of Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee to inspect and resolve the matter.

Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee has organized verification and worked with relevant individuals, organized many working sessions with the aim of propagating and mobilizing Ms. Ho Thi Tri's family to understand the law. However, Ms. Tri's family did not cooperate, obstructed and caused difficulties for the local government. In that situation, to ensure state management in the area, the Chairman of Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee issued Decision No. 167/QD-UBND on handling the petition of a number of households in Hamlet 2, Nghia Thuan Commune. In which, it determined that the petition of citizens of Hamlet 2, Nghia Thuan Commune was well-founded. At the same time, it required Ms. Ho Thi Tri's family to remove the concrete pillars and barbed wire fences themselves, returning the current state of the football field to the people of Hamlet 2 for use. Because Ms. Ho Thi Tri's family did not voluntarily comply, Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee organized the removal of the concrete pillars and barbed wire fences, returning the current state of the football field to the people of Hamlet 2. However, currently, Ms. Tri's family is having opinions related to the family's rights, Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee is coordinating with relevant agencies to resolve the case to stabilize the situation.

Thai Hoa Town People's Committee respectfully accepts the feedback of Nghe An Newspaper.
