5 candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term in constituency No. 16 (including 16 communes and 1 town in Tuong Duong district) include: Mr. Vo Dai Duong - Deputy Head of the Administrative - Organization - Management Department, Office of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Tuong Duong District People's Council; Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director of the Information Technology Center, Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Cao Tien Trung - Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Department, Provincial People's Council.

At the conference, voters heard a brief biography andaction planof each candidate. Adhering to the provisions of the law and in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Election Committee on ensuring principles, democracy, publicity, and equality among candidates, the action programs of each candidate are prepared seriously, scientifically, concisely, clearly, and easily understood.

Presenting their action programs, the candidates all clearly expressed their desire to contribute to the rapid and sustainable socio-economic development associated with ensuring the solid defense and security of the province. At the same time, they affirmed that they would regularly maintain close contact with voters, listen, collect, make recommendations, and fully, objectively and promptly reflect the opinions and legitimate aspirations of voters to the National Assembly, the Provincial People's Council and relevant authorities for research and resolution; monitor and supervise the process of resolving voters' opinions and recommendations.

With the role and position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee participating in the election of Tuong Duong district, in his action program, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu said that he will join the Party Committee and people of Tuong Duong district to complete the goal of building and developing the socio-economy in the period of 2021-2025. Developing agricultural economy,new rural construction, linking agricultural production with traditional craft development and tourism - service and trade development. In particular, focusing on good management of land planning, actively allocating land in conjunction with forest allocation; effectively implementing vocational training for rural workers, creating jobs to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; investing in building and constructing essential infrastructure at commune-level units...

Highly appreciating the action programs of the candidates, voters hope that the candidates will always try and make efforts to implement their action programs; at the same time, properly perform the role and function of elected representatives, pursue and closely follow to resolve voters' opinions and recommendations.

Some voters suggested that if candidates are elected to the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, they should pay attention to bringing Resolution 88/2019/QH14 into life, helping the lives of ethnic minorities in the district.Xiangyanggrowing

In addition, voters also expressed their wishes and requested candidates to pay attention to the issue of electricity grid for Xop Chao village, Luong Minh commune; planning residential areas in Xop Chao village; building hard bridges to 4 inner villages of Luong Minh commune; paying attention to upgrading some traffic routes in the district; solving outstanding issues related to hydropower plant projects; having solutions to help the Education and Training sector of Tuong Duong district to increasingly improve quality, specifically having a policy to build boarding high schools in the district...
