National U13 Finals: SLNA wins big over Hanoi, 2 Nghe An teams enter semi-finals

The U13 SLNA players took to the field in their traditional yellow uniforms while the U13 Hanoi players wore white uniforms. Previously, the U12 SLNA team advanced to the semi-finals with a 1-0 victory over U13 Saigon, which made the U13 team enter the match with a higher determination to win.

After only 4 minutes of play, U13 SLNA opened the scoring thanks to a decisive header by number 11 Phung Van Nam. With an early goal, the young players from Nghe An played freely and created more dangerous opportunities towards the goal of U13 Hanoi.

In the 25th minute, Phung Van Nam continued to have the opportunity to face the goal of U13 Hanoi but the shot of player number 11 could not defeat goalkeeper Pham Dinh Hai. In the following minutes, although creating many opportunities, at the end of the first half, U13 SLNA still could not get the second goal.

Entering the second half, when the match entered the 50th minute, Pham Quoc Khanh had a powerful long-range shot that made goalkeeper Pham Dinh Hai fumble, helping U13 SLNA double the gap.

In the 55th minute, Nguyen Dinh Cuong headed the ball close to the goal to increase the score to 3-0. A few minutes later, Dinh Cuong continued to score his second goal, helping coach Phan Van Hung's team take a 4-goal lead.

As the match entered the final minutes, U13 SLNA's number 19 - Nguyen Trong Son scored a beautiful goal to help the young team from Nghe An lead 5-0 against the representative from the Capital. And this was also the final result of the quarter-final match between U13 SLNA and U13 Hanoi.

Thus, both representatives of SLNA have participated in the semi-finals of the 2019 National Youth Football Tournament. U12 SLNA's opponent is U13 PVF, while U13 SLNA will face U13 Da Nang, the semi-finals will take place on July 13, the final on July 15.
