Faced with that situation, Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc - Head of the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection said that recently the Department has sent specialized staff directly to the Quy Hop orange area to survey and grasp the situation of orange falling here to determine the cause.

"To fix the problem of oranges falling off, it cannot be handled immediately, but requires a long-term strategy. The solution is to survey each orange garden to clearly determine the cause of the pest and disease before coming up with a specific solution," said Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc.

Currently, Quy Hop is the locality with the largest commercial orange area in Nghe An province with 1,400 hectares./.
