Luu Son Commune (Do Luong) receives Certificate of recognition as a commune meeting New Rural standards

Up to now, Luu Son commune has mobilized nearly 350 billion VND to build welfare works in the area according to the new rural criteria, of which people contributed 257 billion VND, the provincial central budget supported 28 billion VND, the district supported 6.1 billion VND and the commune budget 5 billion VND.

In recent times, the commune has invested in building 33 km of asphalt and concrete roads, 20.4 km of irrigation canals and focused on building infrastructure for primary schools, kindergartens and health stations, thanks to which the commune's primary school has reached national standards level 2, and the commune health station has reached national standards for health. 7/7 hamlets have built cultural houses and synchronous cultural and sports facilities, 5/7 hamlets have achieved the title of cultural village.

By 2018, average income per capita reached 39.1 million VND/year, the poverty rate was only 1.37%.

With the achieved results, in December 2018, Luu Son was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting the National standards for new rural construction.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Lap - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded the Certificate of Recognition and a welfare project award worth 500 million VND from the Provincial People's Committee to Luu Son commune.
