Faced with the current alarming shortage of blood reserves, promoting the spirit of mutual love and sharing with patients, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the Youth Union of Vinh General Hospital mobilized staff and employees to join hands in donating blood for the health of patients.

Despite the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, with the slogan "Preventing COVID-19 - Don't forget to donate blood", more than 60 hospital staff and employees volunteered to donate precious drops of blood to share with patients.

BSCKI. Phan The Long - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vinh General Hospital shared: During the complicated development of the acute respiratory infection caused by the new strain of Covid-19. With the blood reserve running out at an alarming rate, as a medical unit, we understand more than anyone else the danger of blood shortage for thousands of patients. Therefore, we wish to contribute a small part to share with the patients, carrying out the noble act of "each drop of blood given, a life remains".
