Standing Committee of Thai Hoa City Party Committee meets and dialogues with people

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 6, the Standing Committee of Thai Hoa City Party Committee organized a meeting and dialogue with the people in 2017.

Attending the dialogue conference were key leaders of agencies and units, leaders of communes, wards, secretaries, blocks, and hamlet heads of 126 blocks and hamlets in Thai Hoa.

At the conference, there were 20 opinions related to 36 issues mentioned by delegates such as: people did not agree with the policy of transferring 4 hamlets of Tay Hieu commune to Nghia Tien commune; some residential areas had degraded and damaged power grid infrastructure that did not meet requirements; differences between localities when clearing and compensating for agricultural land; TH Group's waste trucks were spilled into the environment, causing pollution...

The Standing Committee of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee has answered in detail the contents, resolving the people's questions. However, some historical issues related to the State's regulations such as the merger of 4 hamlets of Tay Hieu commune to Nghia Tien, which the people do not agree with, the Standing Committee of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee will accept and build a specific working program to satisfy the people's wishes, in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee affirmed: Dialogue with the people helps the Standing Committee better understand the people's thoughts and aspirations, thereby directing specialized agencies to better perform their duties and responsibilities, respond to the people's legitimate thoughts and aspirations, and contribute to the good implementation of democratic regulations.

He also assigned responsibility to leaders of departments, offices, and localities to focus on resolving problems raised by the people; communes and wards regularly organize contact and dialogue regulations to promptly resolve pressing issues arising from the grassroots.
