Nghe An Newspaper and TH Group give Tet gifts to poor households in Xieng My commune (Tuong Duong)

Xieng My is a poor commune of Tuong Duong district, the poverty rate accounts for more than 36%. After nearly 9 years of implementing the policy of helping poor communes of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Newspaper has received support from Xieng My commune (Tuong Duong) in many forms such as building a breeding cow bank (the herd has increased to a total of 98 cows). In addition to the annual breeding cow donation program, Nghe An Newspaper also mobilizes businesses inside and outside the province to support the commune in eliminating thatched houses; giving hundreds of gifts to support poor households in the locality every Tet holiday. Since the commune has electricity, Nghe An Newspaper has supported the Commune People's Committee to purchase equipment such as computers, printers, photocopiers, etc. and called for and mobilized funds to buy dozens of desks and chairs for students at the Dinh Tai hamlet of Xieng My Primary School.
