Arrested 2 drug addicts transporting drugs from Que Phong to Hoang Mai for consumption
(Baonghean.vn) - Both were drug addicts, together they set up a drug line from Nghe An border districts to Hoang Mai town for consumption.
On March 29, Hoang Mai Town Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, prosecuting two suspects, Vu Van Cuong (born in 1985, residing in Quynh Xuan Ward, Hoang Mai Town) and Quang Van Nghe (born in 1980, residing in Chau Thon Commune, Que Phong District) for the act of illegally buying, selling and transporting drugs.
At 3:00 p.m. on March 20, 2020, on National Highway 1A, in Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town police caught Cuong and Nghe red-handed for illegally buying, selling and storing drugs, seizing 4,000 synthetic drug pills.

On March 18, 2020, Cuong called Nghe to order drugs (pink pills). The next morning, Cuong drove his motorbike to Que Phong district to meet Nghe and gave Nghe money to order the "goods".
On March 20, 2020, Nghe called Cuong to inform him that he had the “goods”. The two subjects made an appointment to deliver the goods in Quynh Thang commune, Quynh Luu district. After receiving the drugs, Cuong put the drugs in his front pocket and moved towards Hoang Mai town when he was caught red-handed by the police. Nghe was arrested later.
According to the police, Vu Van Cuong had four previous convictions for theft and robbery, while Quang Van Nghe had two previous convictions for drug use. Both were drug addicts and together they set up a drug line from the border districts of Nghe An to Hoang Mai town, both for consumption and to satisfy their addictions.
