Arrested 3 subjects illegally storing a large amount of firecrackers
(Baonghean.vn) - Hung Nguyen District Police and Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Police) have just arrested 3 subjects for illegally storing 80kg of firecrackers.
The three subjects arrested by the police for illegally storing firecrackers include Vo Dinh My (born in 1955), Ngo Sy Nhan (born in 1980), both residing in Long Xa commune, Hung Nguyen district, and Tran Van Huyen (born in 1983), residing in Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district.
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, the police discovered a ring of trafficking and transporting prohibited goods in large quantities to Hung Nguyen district for consumption.
After collecting information, documents, and evidence, on November 15, 2023, Hung Nguyen District Police co-chaired with Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Police) divided into 2 working groups to simultaneously arrest and urgently search the houses of the subjects in Dien Chau district and Hung Nguyen district.
During the search, the police seized 80kg of various types of firecrackers, 03 mobile phones and some related evidence.
At the police station, the subjects admitted all their crimes.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Nguyen District Police is temporarily detaining the subjects to continue investigating and expanding the case./.
