Arrested drug traffickers who always carry weapons

Recently, in Con Cuong district, there have been a number of suspicious individuals involved in the illegal trading and possession of narcotics, including individuals with criminal records. Con Cuong district police have established a special project coded 237G to combat this type of crime.

Through screening and verification, at 2:00 p.m. on July 25, the District Police caught Tran Van Giap (born in 1984), residing in Block 6, Con Cuong Town, Con Cuong District, in the act of buying and selling drugs at his home. Evidence seized at the scene included 21 packages of heroin, 1 package of crystal meth, 47 doses of pink pills and a number of weapons such as electric batons, utility knives, switchblades, knives, 2 swords, a safe, 1 motorbike, and 3 phones.

At the police station, Tran Van Giap bowed his head and admitted his guilt. The authorities opened the seal and determined the weight of the packages containing drugs, with a total weight of 15.35 grams.

It is known that Tran Van Giap is a notorious drug trafficker in Con Cuong district. When carrying out drug trafficking, Giap always carries weapons with him, ready to fight back against the authorities if discovered.

Currently, Con Cuong District Police are consolidating the case file to handle it according to the law.
