Emergency arrest of 4 cousins who bought and sold a huge amount of drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Police have just coordinated with professional units of Nghe An Police, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station and related units to break up a case of buying, storing and illegally transporting a huge amount of drugs, arresting 4 subjects.
In early June 2020, Vinh City Police discovered a large-scale drug trafficking ring, involving many participants, who purchased drugs from the district's border area.Thanh Chuongthen collect "goods" and send them to many provinces and cities across the country for consumption.
Faced with that situation, Vinh City Police established a special project to combat and eradicate this large drug ring.

Accordingly, at 4:00 p.m. on September 7, 2020, in Cua Nam ward, Vinh city, Vinh city police caught Hoang The Thanh, born in 1992, residing in Thanh Long commune (Thanh Chuong) driving a car todrug trafficking, the police seized 3kg of crystal meth.
Expanding the investigation, the City Police detained Hoang Van Linh, born in 1991, residing in Thanh Long Commune, Thanh Chuong District, on an emergency basis. This subject was waiting for Hoang The Thanh to deliver drugs to sell together.

At the same time, another task force detained two people in an emergency drug trafficking ring, including Tran Van Khanh, born in 1963, residing in Thanh Long commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An) and Tran Van Phuong, born in 1980, residing in Thanh An commune (Thanh Chuong).

During the night of September 7, 2020 to the early morning of September 8, 2020, the authorities executed an emergency search warrant at the residence of subject Tran Van Khanh, seizing 13 heroin cakes and 7kg ofcrystal meth, 10,000 MTTH pills, 01 car. All of these drugs were put in plastic barrels and buried in Khanh's garden.

Tran Van Khanh played the role of mastermind in this drug crime ring. The subjects bought drugs in the border area of Thanh Chuong district, then transported them to Khanh's house and hid them. When the time was right, they handed them over to the other subjects to sell.
It is noteworthy that all four subjects in the above mentioned drug trafficking, storage and transportation ring are related by blood and are all drug addicts.
