Provincial Party Secretary directed to thoroughly resolve cases related to people's rights

Also attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

Citizens' petitions presented at the November 2019 citizen reception session mainly included contents related to the land sector such as land use rights disputes, violations in granting land use right certificates, taking advantage of positions to embezzle State land use fees, etc.

In addition, citizens also petitioned on issues related to abuse of power and authority, and violations of the law in Nam Dan district. The issue of bidding for market kiosks in Tru Son commune (Do Luong)...

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Citizen Reception Committee...; leaders of local authorities of Nam Dan, Do Luong, and Yen Thanh districts answered and clarified a number of issues that citizens requested and reported according to their authority.

Considering the content presented by citizens and the opinions of departments, branches and localities, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh directly responded and explained some of the contents of citizens' recommendations and reflections.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Secretary also requested relevant departments, branches and localities to carefully review and appraise the content of the petitions, research and propose solutions to advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to direct the settlement for the people in accordance with the provisions of law.

The Provincial Party Secretary noted that cases related to people's legitimate rights must be resolved thoroughly, to avoid causing resentment and disunity among the people.
