Attending the opening ceremony of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh shared that the brand name "Phan School" has become a guarantee of prestige and student quality.

This brand and tradition are from generations of teachers and students, including today's generation of teachers and students. Therefore, the first thing the Provincial Party Secretary told the school was to continue teaching well and studying well to ensure a sustainable brand.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh advised students that in addition to studying well, being diligent and creative, they also need to imbibe and practice the tradition of respecting teachers. Students must respect and listen to their teachers.

As for teachers, with their passion, they continue to devote their strength and intelligence to taking care of and helping students study better. In particular, each teacher must always be a shining example for students to follow.

“Teachers are the second parents of their students. I hope that teachers will set a good example for students to grow up,” the Provincial Party Secretary shared.

Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted also needs to continue to provide comprehensive education for students so that they can become good and useful people. This is extremely important and must be paid close attention to.

Besides, schools need to have many measures, including applying information technology to connect and closely contact between schools and families to create more favorable conditions for children to study well.

Appreciating the achievements that Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has achieved. Emphasizing that these are the results of the labor of generations of teachers and students of the school, the Provincial Party Secretary also noted that the school must continue to promote the motto of "teaching in a practical way, learning in a practical way", "absolutely avoiding the disease of achievement, should not have achievements at all costs but achievements must come from the serious labor of teachers and students".

Because what students care about is to gain knowledge and skills to move forward firmly on the next stage. As for teachers, the greatest encouragement and happiness is to see the maturity of their students.

On this occasion, 37 teachers of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in directing and nurturing excellent students at national, international and regional levels.

On the occasion of the new school year, Nghe An Province's Association for Promoting Education and many other organizations have awarded many scholarships to students who have made great efforts in their studies; students in mountainous and rural areas who have overcome difficulties in their studies, valedictorians of grade 10, and students in the selection team...

In the 2019-2020 school year, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted has about 1,300 students with 39 classes, including 443 grade 10 students. In the 2018-2019 school year, the school had 90 national excellent student awards, 4 regional and international Olympic medals.
