At the conference, representative of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi informed voters of Tho Thanh commune about some important contents at the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, opening on October 21 and expected to close on November 21, in Hanoi.

Voter Nguyen Viet Ty is concerned about the price fluctuations in the electricity and petroleum industries, saying that the electricity price increase is too high, while the gasoline price has a phenomenon of increasing a lot and decreasing a little, and recommends that it is necessary to promote the application of market mechanisms to avoid monopoly in these industries.
In addition, Ty voters also proposed that the National Assembly and relevant levels and sectors consider, in addition to awarding medals of all kinds, having a reward regime for soldiers who enlisted after 1975, participating in fighting in the Cambodian battlefield, the Southwestern border and the Northern border.
“The implementation of Decision No. 49 of the Government on frontline workers still has some subjects that have not been resolved. I think it is necessary to clearly answer these subjects whether they will be resolved or not, and if so, when?”, he added.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh noted that Tho Thanh commune leaders should answer clearly and decisively during the reception process for the people to understand. Along with that, officials and leaders of Yen Thanh district need to focus more on resolving voters' petitions and suggestions, avoiding cases where people complain and ask questions many times but do not receive satisfactory answers.
“The commune has resolved the issue but people still have questions, so the district must research and resolve it. Whether you agree or have a different opinion from the commune’s solution, you must clearly answer the people,” said the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province. He also affirmed that public agencies should support and help people; whatever can be done to make things easier for people, especially those with meritorious services, should be done.
