Ministry of Education and Training inspects and recognizes the achievement of universal primary education level 3 standards in Nghe An

According to the progress report on the implementation of the task of universalizing education and eliminating illiteracy in Quy Hop district in 2021: All communes and towns have met the level 2 illiteracy eradication standards; 100% of communes and towns have met the level 3 universal primary education standards; 20/21 communes and towns have met the level 3 universal secondary education standards and 1 commune has met the standard.universal educationSecondary school level 2. All communes and towns meet the standards of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children.

The total number of 6-year-old children mobilized to enter grade 1 is 2,714/2,715 children, reaching a rate of 99.96%. The total number of 11-year-old children who have completed primary school is 1,910/1,964 children, reaching a rate of 97.25%. The remaining students are all studying in primary school classes.

With the achieved results, all 21 communes and towns of Quy Hop district have been recognized for universal primary education level 3. In the following years, Quy Hop district continues to maintain and sustain this result.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Continuing Education, Ministry of Education and TrainingThe Department of Education and Training acknowledged and commended the achievements in the work of universalizing primary education and eliminating illiteracy in the area. At the same time, it frankly pointed out the existing limitations that need to be overcome and suggested that in the coming time, the Steering Committee for Universalizing Primary Education and Eliminating Illiteracy in Quy Hop district and the Department of Education and Training of the district continue to promote the achievements, overcome the limitations and shortcomings; promote propaganda to raise the understanding of the people and the community about the universalization work to firmly maintain universalization of education and eliminate illiteracy in the district.

Strengthening the leadership, direction and participation of Party committees and local authorities at all levels in the work of universalizing education and eliminating illiteracy, creating consensus in the implementation process.

Advise the District People's Committee to include the task of universalizing primary education and eliminating illiteracy in the Resolution and local socio-economic development plan to effectively direct implementation. Continue to promote the socialization of universal education. Encourage and create conditions for individuals, businesses, and social organizations in the area and mobilize people's resources to carry out universal education, meet the implementation of the new general education program effectively, aiming to maintain, consolidate, and improve the quality of education and training in the area.
