(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 11, the working delegation of the Training and Knowledge Update Class for Alternate Members of the 13th Party Central Committee came to conduct a field survey in Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district on building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

This program is implemented according to the plan of the Central Organizing Committee, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The training and knowledge update class for alternate members of the Party Central Committee includes 20 comrades led by comrade Nguyen Long Hai - alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc as class leader.

Coming to Nghe An province, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Principal of the Provincial Political School; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, representatives of the Standing Committee of Nam Dan District Party Committee.

35/42 CONTENT MEETING THE STANDARDS OF A MODEL NEW RURAL DISTRICT ON "CULTURE ASSOCIATED WITH TOURISM"

Implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction, the appearance of residential areas in the district is increasingly improving, the material, cultural and spiritual life of the people is improved.

The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU, dated June 16, 2017 on the direction and tasks for the development of Nam Dan district until 2025, with a vision to 2030, in which the goal is to make Nam Dan a model new rural district and a national tourist center by 2025.

With the support of the Central Government, the province and the efforts, determination and creativity of the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people in the district, Nam Dan has completed the criteria and been recognized as a district meeting new rural standards in Decision No. 520/QD-TTg dated May 11, 2018 of the Prime Minister.

Following that success, on January 4, 2019, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 17/QD-TTg approving the Pilot Project "Building Nam Dan district, Nghe An province to become a model new rural district in the direction of cultural development associated with tourism, period 2018 - 2025".

By the end of 2022, the whole district will have 9 advanced new rural communes, accounting for 50% of the total number of communes, of which 5 communes will meet model new rural standards: Kim Lien, Nam Giang, Nam Cat, Nam Anh, and Nam Nghia.

In 2023, the district will continue to invest resources to strive to have 2 communes meeting model new rural standards and 5 advanced new rural communes.

Up to now, Nam Dan district has had 35/42 contents meeting the standards of a model new rural district in terms of "Culture associated with tourism".

In the coming time, Nam Dan district has identified the key task as continuing to prioritize resources to complete the infrastructure system from district to commune; comprehensively developing the economy associated with restructuring the agricultural sector, effectively implementing the One Commune One Product Program, and enhancing the value of products serving tourism development.

Nam Dan also focuses on environmental protection, building a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" landscape; preserving, restoring, and upgrading historical, cultural, and revolutionary relics; developing cultural, artistic, and sports movements, building a cultural lifestyle; building a model new rural commune according to themes, and developing cultural tourism models.

During the working program, the delegation surveyed the construction of a model new rural area in Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district. This is a commune that achieved the new rural area in 2014, advanced new rural area in 2021, and model new rural area in 2022.

NAM DAN TAKES STABLE STEPS IN BUILDING A NEW RURAL AREA

After the field survey and listening to the report of the leaders of Nam Dan district, on behalf of the Training Class, updating knowledge for the alternate members of the 13th Party Central Committee, comrade Nguyen Long Hai - alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Class President spoke, expressing his joy at being able to visit and conduct a field survey in Nam Dan district; congratulating the results that the district has achieved in building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

With the attention and direction of the Central Government and the province; especially Decision No. 17/QD-TTg approving the pilot project "Building Nam Dan district, Nghe An province to become a model new rural district in the direction of cultural development associated with tourism, period 2018 - 2025" of the Prime Minister, along with effective concretization solutions of the district, especially the solidarity of the people, comrade Nguyen Long Hai believes that with that solid step, the roadmap for building new rural areas of Nam Dan will be successful.
