Completed placing 2,000 markers to clear land for the North-South expressway through Dien Chau

The North-South Expressway project passing through Dien Chau district is about 26.68 km long with 12 communes including: Dien Doai, Dien Yen, Dien Thap, Dien Lien, Dien Dong, Dien Hanh, Dien Quang, Dien Cat, Dien Loi, Dien Tho, Dien Phu, Dien Xuan.

It is expected that 153 households will have to be resettled, of which Dien Cat has the most with more than 60 households, relocating 1,650 graves.

The area of ​​land affected and recovered includes agricultural land, non-agricultural land, traffic land... is more than 2 million 178 thousand m2.²Total cost of site clearance is about 603 billion VND.

After 5 months of implementation, the assigned unit under the Ministry of Transport has handed over more than 2,000 land clearance markers to Dien Chau district and 12 communes. This is a very important task, helping local authorities and people to recognize the area the road passes through so as not to invest in building project works, ensuring future planning.

The milestones have been installed in Dien Cat commune (Dien Chau).

Currently, Dien Chau district is stepping up propaganda work to create consensus among the people in site clearance and resettlement work according to plan.

In the 2017-2020 period, the North-South Expressway project invested 654 km, divided into 11 sub-projects, with sections from Cao Bo (Nam Dinh) to Bai Vot (Ha Tinh); from Cam Lo (Quang Tri) to La Son (Thua Thien - Hue); from Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) to Dau Giay (Dong Nai), My Thuan 2 Bridge, Tien Giang and Vinh Long.
