Banh Muot shop owner infected with Covid-19, Vinh City urgently looking for customers who came for breakfast

On October 30, the People's Committee of Trung Do Ward (Vinh City) issued an urgent notice about the location related to the Covid-19 patient. This is the location related to the patient in the community discovered this morning.

"The patient has a rather complicated contact history, the source of infection has not been found. Currently, we have traced 23 F1 to send them to centralized quarantine," said Mr. Tran Quang Dai - Chairman of Trung Do Ward People's Committee. Accordingly, the patient is a 56-year-old woman who sells banh muot for breakfast at home at address 18, Le Doan Nha Street, Block 12, Trung Do Ward (near Trung Do Ward Medical Station).

On October 29, she had symptoms of fever, sore throat, and fatigue, so she went to the medical station for examination and was tested for suspected cases. Immediately after, her sample was sent to the CDC, and on the morning of October 30, the results confirmed that she was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Trung Do Ward recommends that all residents who have come to buy food or have breakfast and have been in contact with the patient at the above address from October 16 to now should immediately contact the nearest medical station for support.

Since October 15, Trung Do ward has recorded 17 cases, second only to Hung Loc commune with 41 patients. Currently, in the province, there are 2 commune-level localities in the very high-risk area (red zone, level 4), which are Hung Loc commune and Chau Nhan commune (Hung Nguyen district).

4 high-risk localities (orange zone, level 3) are Ha Huy Tap ward, Trung Do ward of Vinh city and Nghi Thach commune, Nghi Trung commune of Nghi Loc. 7 localities in the risk zone (yellow zone, level 2) are Vinh Tan ward, Quan Bau ward, Hung Binh ward, Truong Thi ward, Ben Thuy ward of Vinh city, Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan), and Nghi Thinh commune (Nghi Loc).

The remaining 447 communes, wards and towns are in green zones, new normal zones. In particular, in Quynh Bang commune (Quynh Luu), although a series of cases have been recorded in the community in the past few days, it is still a green zone./.
