Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung attended the military handover ceremony and congratulated the new recruits of Dien Chau district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 7, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Military Service Council of Nghe An province attended the military handover ceremony in Dien Chau district, encouraging young men to join the army.
Attending the military handover ceremony organized by Dien Chau district were also comrades: Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Duong Hong Hai - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command; leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Dien Chau district.

In 2023, Dien Chau district will recruit 307 young people according to the assigned quota; of which, 285 citizens will perform military service and 22 young people will perform police service.
According to the military assignment plan, these new soldiers will be assigned to the following units: Navy, Armored Corps, Provincial Border Guard Command, Regiment 764 of the Provincial Military Command and Nghe An Provincial Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tang Van Luyen - Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee emphasized that in the process of leading the Vietnamese revolutionary cause, our Party has always determined: Protecting the Fatherland is the sacred duty and noble right of citizens.
Imbued with that ideology, in recent years, national defense and security work in general, and the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in particular, have always received special attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels. Thanks to that, the annual recruitment of young people always meets the target, and the quality of young people joining the army has been constantly improved.

Many comrades during their time in the army have strived to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam, cadres, officers, and professional soldiers serving long-term in the armed forces. Those comrades who have returned to their localities have all promoted the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and the qualities of a People's Public Security Officer to actively participate in work, labor, production, economic development, and the construction of their homeland and country.
On behalf of the district leaders, the District Military Service Council, Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee Tang Van Luyen sincerely thanks the people of the whole district; thanks the families who have given birth, raised and educated their beloved children. So that today, you have become soldiers, Uncle Ho's soldiers, People's Public Security soldiers, shouldering the glorious responsibility of protecting the Fatherland, maintaining security, order and social safety.
