The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front informed Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long and auxiliary bishops, priests, dignitaries, and officials about the country's socio-economic situation. Despite many difficulties and challenges, especially the Covid-19 pandemic, under the correct and close leadership of the Party, the drastic management and administration of the State, the active and responsible participation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and the solidarity, joint efforts, and consensus of all classes of people, in 2021, our country achieved many achievements, both preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, while ensuring economic development, maintaining social order and safety, and caring for people's lives. In that process, there were positive contributions from religions, including those of Catholics nationwide and Catholics in Nghe An.
