Young girl suppresses the pain of losing her mother, agrees to enter the Covid-19 quarantine area in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - Receiving the bad news that her mother suddenly passed away in her hometown Thanh Lam (Thanh Chuong), Ngo Thanh Tra (born 2000), who was working in Da Nang, returned home to mourn her mother immediately. But as soon as she got off the bus, she had to suppress her grief to enter the centralized quarantine area.
Accordingly, yesterday, July 16, Ngo Thanh Tra (currently working at a private nursery in Da Nang) received a phone call from a relative informing her that her mother had just passed away from a stroke. Immediately after that, she took a bus back to her hometown.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Lam Commune People's Committee, Thanh Chuong District said that after receiving information that Tra would return to mourn her mother, local leaders quickly contacted Tra to advise her not to return to Da Nang, but Tra said she had already boarded the bus 1/3 of the way home. Therefore, local authorities have come up with a plan to promptly send Tra to a centralized quarantine area.

The government immediately assigned 3 teams to carry out this task. The first team went to Tra's house to express condolences and ask after her family, and at the same time encouraged her to voluntarily enter the quarantine area as soon as she got off the bus to ensure her health, that of her family and society.
The second team was on duty at Mong bridge checkpoint (the road she would pass on her way home) to take Tra to the quarantine area. The third team was in charge of cleaning the quarantine area. At 12 midnight on August 16, Ngo Thanh Tra entered the quarantine area of Thanh Lam Secondary School dormitory.

Ngo Thanh Tra took two trips, from Da Nang to Vinh bypass and from Vinh bypass took a taxi home. Both trips have now made health declarations and completed the necessary procedures.
This morning, August 17, the family was holding the funeral of Tra's mother. Understanding her pain, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Thanh Lam commune set up a memorial altar for her to burn incense for her mother from afar.
