Con Cuong is also a land rich in historical and cultural traditions with relics ranked at the national level. Notably, the Ma Nhai Stele (Chi Khe Commune) was carved by the Royal Doctor Nguyen Trung Ngan on the mountainside in the 14th century. The content recorded the spirit of the Tran Dynasty generals after winning the victory over the Ai Lao invaders. Con Cuong also has the relic of Mr. Vi Van Khang's house (Mon Son commune) which is ranked at the national level. This is the place that marks the establishment of the Mon Son Party Cell, the first cell established in the mountainous districts of Nghe An. The cell was established at the private home of Comrade Vi Van Khang - the first cell secretary, where many meetings were held to discuss and agree on plans to lead the revolutionary struggle in the Muong Qua area.
