Cong Vinh recently shared on his official fanpage photos taken in his hometown Nghe An, the flooded scene and many areas flooded up to the roof made Cong Vinh exclaim: "Oh my god... Nghe An, my hometown".

After Cong Vinh shared images of flooding in Nghe An, many people commented calling on him and his wife to return home to provide relief. Currently, Cong Vinh and his wife Thuy Tien are in the Central region to help people overcome the consequences of the recent storm and flood. Cong Vinh affirmed: "Vinh will definitely return, everyone can rest assured."
It is known that the image that Cong Vinh shared was the scene of flooding in Thanh My commune, Thanh Chuong district, one of the focal points of this major flood. The entire Thanh My commune had 6/6 hamlets completely isolated, hundreds of houses were flooded almost to the roof. On the night of October 29, the government and functional agencies evacuated hundreds of households in Thanh My commune to avoid the flood.

Continuous heavy rain from October 29 to 30, along with the simultaneous discharge of floodwaters from hydroelectric plants in the Ca River basin, caused many houses in Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Do Luong, and Anh Son districts to be severely flooded.
