Voters of Anh Son district reflect on sand and gravel mining causing landslides on both banks of Lam River
On the afternoon of December 4, in Anh Son district, National Assembly deputies elected in constituency No. 1 of Nghe An province met with voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Participating in the meeting with voters were National Assembly Deputies: Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Tran Nhat Minh - Full-time National Assembly Delegate of Nghe An Delegation, along with the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Anh Son district and related departments and branches.

At the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, delegate Tran Nhat Minh informed voters about the important results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly as well as the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the session. After 29.5 days of working with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, proactiveness, urgency and high responsibility, the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly completed the entire program.

At the conference, voters of Anh Son District had many opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government and Nghe An province related to the fields of: agriculture - forestry; natural resources and environment; investment, construction; labor, war invalids and social affairs...
Accordingly, voters in Dinh Son commune reported that the sand and gravel mining on Lam River has caused serious erosion on both sides of the river, encroaching on agricultural land and residential land of the people. Voters recommended that the authorities rectify the sand and gravel mining on Lam River, and at the same time pay attention to investing in building embankments to prevent erosion, ensuring safety for people living and working on both sides of the river.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang, a voter of Dinh Son commune, reported that the electricity infrastructure system in Dinh Hop village has been degraded for a long time, posing many potential safety risks, especially during the rainy and stormy season. Mr. Hoang recommended that all levels invest in and replace the pole and power line system to ensure safety and serve the people's daily life and production.
Regarding traffic safety, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, a voter from Dinh Son commune, reported that the Cay Chanh intersection on National Highway 7 has a high traffic density, is complicated, and frequently causes accidents, especially during rush hours. Therefore, voters recommended installing a traffic light system to ensure safety for traffic participants.

In addition, opinions related to: payment of epidemic support money; increasing support for village and hamlet officials; subsidies for meritorious people; settlement of surplus assets after merging administrative units; work to prevent and combat corruption and waste; slow disbursement of public investment capital; investment in building transport infrastructure; attracting investment, creating jobs for local workers; handling counterfeit and fake goods... were also recommended by voters to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
After listening to the voters' recommendations, representatives of departments, branches and Anh Son district received and clarified the opinions according to their authority. At the same time, they synthesized the opinions to forward to relevant levels and branches for early resolution.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, National Assembly Delegate Hoang Minh Hieu answered and clarified a number of voters' opinions; recorded and accepted all voters' legitimate opinions and recommendations to synthesize and forward to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
