Voters of Do Luong district made many recommendations to the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An.

On the morning of April 11, in Thai Son commune (Do Luong), National Assembly deputies: Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly deputy of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province had a meeting with voters before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Also attending were representatives of the Departments of Home Affairs, Agriculture and Environment; and representatives of Do Luong district leaders.

After listening to National Assembly delegates announce to local voters the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, voters of Do Luong district made many recommendations to all levels related to many fields.

Voters of Do Luong district expressed their belief that the reorganization of the apparatus is an important step in reforming the state administrative apparatus, especially streamlining the organization, reducing overlap, reducing administrative procedures and improving the efficiency of state agencies' operations.

Voters also requested transparency and publicity in the reorganization of the political system; having a plan, roadmap and criteria for selecting, arranging and cutting down the administrative apparatus; at the same time creating convenience for people to carry out administrative procedures after the reorganization of administrative units.

Regarding education, voters of Do Luong district expressed their excitement at the Politburo's policy of exempting all tuition fees for students from kindergarten to high school (expected to be implemented from the 2025-2026 school year).

Voters said this is a fair and humane policy, helping to improve learning opportunities for all children, especially students in rural and remote areas; this policy not only helps reduce the financial burden on families but also creates more equitable opportunities in learning, improving the quality of mass education.

Also related to this field, voter Hoang Van Phu, Thai Son commune, reflected: Circular 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training has set out new regulations to control extra teaching and learning in educational institutions, the majority of voters agree, however, the implementation of these regulations is not strict, suggesting that relevant agencies need to take corrective measures. Voter Hoang Van Phu proposed that the Government soon have a policy to support electronic transcripts.

Regarding the work of preventing and combating corruption, voter Pham Thi Hoa, Hien Son commune highly appreciated the determination and efforts of the Party and State in preventing and combating corruption and negativity, especially when this work was promoted and had clear results, many major corruption cases were discovered, investigated and strictly handled, creating great trust among the people. Voters requested the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Government to continue to promote the work of preventing and combating corruption, strictly handling corruption and negativity cases, in the spirit of no forbidden areas, no exceptions.

In the health sector, voter Le Thi Huong, Thai Son commune (Do Luong) proposed that the State allow students to participate in family health insurance to reduce some of the cost of buying health insurance.

In addition, voters of Do Luong district made recommendations to the National Assembly and departments and branches on related issues such as: granting land use right certificates, building traffic infrastructure; policies and regimes for people with revolutionary contributions; payment of support money for African swine fever; shortcomings in recruiting civil servants and public employees in the area; traffic accidents on N5 road; investment in hamlet cultural houses, etc.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, delegate Hoang Minh Hieu received and responded to the contents within his authority. At the same time, the National Assembly Delegation will synthesize other opinions and recommendations of voters to forward to the Government, the National Assembly and relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
