Voters petition to resolve compensation and site clearance for Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park

"Suspending" compensation for industrial parks for 10 years
After listening to Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi report on the results of the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, voters of Hoang Mai town expressed their excitement at the outstanding results of socio-economic development of the country and Nghe An province in the past year.

At the meeting, 11 voters' opinions reflected to the National Assembly delegates many contents related to policies, people's lives, and socio-economic development.
Reflecting to the National Assembly delegates, Mr. Le Duy Trung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Loc commune said: Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park is slow to invest in infrastructure, affecting the lives of local people.
Mr. Trung cited that the road from National Highway 1A to Hoang Mai Industrial Park 1 has been seriously degraded for many years but has not been upgraded. Every year, Quynh Loc commune has to allocate budget for maintenance.

“Quynh Loc is a poor commune of Hoang Mai town, striving to reach the new rural commune status by 2020. However, households in the industrial park that have not yet had their land cleared face many difficulties in building infrastructure,” said Mr. Trung.
Regarding this issue, Mr. Dau Xuan Hong, hamlet 10, Quynh Loc commune, proposed that the Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park project has been implemented for about 10 years now, but people have not received financial support for site clearance compensation.
In addition, voters of Hoang Mai town reflected on issues related to land management, granting land use right certificates to people, policies for people with revolutionary contributions, research on adjusting the median strip on National Highway 1A to facilitate people's travel; repairing and upgrading Khe Cau dam; handling overloaded vehicles avoiding inspection stations, clean water issues, etc.

Thoroughly resolve voters' petitions
To clarify voters' opinions, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh requested that Hoang Mai town should respond thoroughly, clearly and specifically to people's recommendations. What can be done and what cannot be done should be done so that voters can clearly understand, and not let the situation of voters making recommendations over and over again.

Regarding Khe Cau dam, voters have reported many times, but the handling process must follow the provisions of the law. Currently, the Inspectorate has reached a conclusion. If voters do not agree, they can petition the competent authority to continue responding.
Regarding the degraded road from National Highway 1A to the industrial park, the Provincial Party Secretary said that the procedures for acquiring Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park and transferring it to Hoang Thinh Dat Company are awaiting approval from the Prime Minister.
Hoang Mai Town needs to work with the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and the new investor of the industrial park to resolve difficulties and problems regarding traffic routes, compensation costs for site clearance, resettlement, and infrastructure for the people.
Several other suggestions and recommendations from voters of Hoang Mai town were answered and clarified by the Provincial Party Secretary and leaders of Hoang Mai town. At the same time, issues beyond the authority of the provincial National Assembly delegation will be compiled and proposed to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
