Nghia Dan voters wish to build more boarding schools for children in remote communes.

On the afternoon of October 5, National Assembly deputies met with voters in Nghia Mai commune, Nghia Dan district. Representing the National Assembly deputies informing voters about the expected agenda of the second session, deputy Dang Xuan Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education said that the upcoming session is expected to be divided into 2 sessions, organized online and in person, taking place from October 20 to November 13, 2021. The National Assembly will consider and approve 2 draft laws and 3 draft resolutions, including a resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province.

The session will also spend time reviewing and commenting on five draft laws, as well as reviewing and studying socio-economic issues, the State budget, supervision and other important issues.
At the conference, voter Cao Thi Lien, Mai Thinh village, reflected on the current situation in the village with 6 dykes, making travel difficult, especially during floods. Voters expressed their wish to have a bridge for people to travel conveniently, ensuring safety for children going to school during the flood season.

Sharing the same concern, voter Tran Thi Kieu Van - Secretary of Chau Tien village Party cell, said that in the village there are 2 ravines, one of which is impassable during every flood season, the other ravine was eroded during the last flood season, making it impossible for people to travel and had to take a detour. Chau Tien village voters requested their superiors to build a spillway to ensure safety for people when participating in traffic.
Meanwhile, voter Tran Dang Huy - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee said that Nghia Mai currently has an ethnic minority population of over 70%, a land area of over 12 thousand hectares, over 8 thousand people, and many difficult conditions. Although all levels and sectors have paid attention to arranging a boarding secondary school, there are currently 2 primary schools, many parents hope that in the coming time, conditions will be created to build more boarding primary schools for ethnic minorities, creating conditions for children of Nghia Mai commune to study well and improve their knowledge.

Affirming his trust and expectation in many important policies and guidelines that will be discussed and approved by the National Assembly in the upcoming session, voter Nguyen Sy Cong - People's Council delegate of Nghia Mai commune reflected that currently nearly 15% of households lack production land, while enterprises located in the area have land but are not very effective, and people continue to propose handing over ineffective forest land to people for production.
In addition, other issues related to social security, new rural construction, support policies for the elderly, ethnic minorities, etc. were also mentioned by voters.
The National Assembly deputies fully received the voters’ opinions and recommendations, clarified and synthesized the relevant contents to the competent authorities. The National Assembly deputies also expressed their hope that Nghia Mai commune will continue to strive, promote internal strength, overcome difficulties and soon reach the new rural destination./.
