Concerns about the current situation of "electricity, roads, schools, stations"
After listening to the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation briefly inform about the results of the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, the delegates of Thanh Khe commune and the communes in the cluster including: Thanh Thinh, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Huong, Ngoc Lam, Thanh Chi, Thanh An, Vo Liet, Thanh Yen... expressed their consensus and appreciation for the results, bills and resolutions passed by the session. At the same time, the people also reflected 18 opinions.
Voter Nguyen Xuan Mau, Luong Dien hamlet, Thanh Khe commune pointed out the sad reality that Thanh Khe commune is one of the pilot localities implementing the new rural program but the traffic system is extremely weak.
Many traffic routes after being concretized have been seriously degraded but have not been repaired; some key inter-hamlet and inter-commune roads are still dirt roads, causing difficulties for people's lives and hindering local socio-economic development.
It is worth mentioning that the concrete road connecting National Highway 46C to Thanh Khe commune, although only put into use for a short time, has shown signs of deterioration, affecting traffic activities.

Voter Dinh Van Hua, Yen Lac village, Thanh Khe commune expressed his frustration when the electricity system in the area did not meet the daily and production needs of the people.
In particular, Yen Lac hamlet is the end point of the power line system, so the power source is unstable, causing many electrical devices of the people to short-circuit and burn during use.

Most of the opinions and recommendations from voters revolve around the degradation of the "electricity - road - school - station" system. Photo: Thanh Quynh |
Voter Le Ngoc Hoang - Principal of Thanh Khe Primary School said that the school currently has 15 classes, 450 students and 23 staff and teachers. However, 27% of the school's students are children of poor households, more than 30% are children of near-poor households, so life is extremely difficult.
Meanwhile, the school's classrooms and facilities have been seriously degraded, making it one of the most disadvantaged schools in Thanh Chuong district. Due to lack of funds to renovate the school, students and teachers have to study and teach in poor conditions. The school hopes that local authorities and National Assembly delegates will report to the authorities for solutions and support.
Regarding the remaining opinions, voters focused on issues related to the treatment regime for village and hamlet officials after the merger; security and order issues in the area after reducing the number of police officers; the issuance of land use right certificates after the conversion; the quality of medical examination and treatment at commune and district hospitals...
Infrastructure shortcomings need to be overcome immediately.
Recording and absorbing voters' opinions, representatives of the People's Committee of Thanh Khe commune and Thanh Chuong district explained issues related to authority.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Van Mao clarified some issues of concern to voters. "Regarding the degradation of the power grid infrastructure, the local electricity sector needs to repair the damaged area immediately and cannot force people to wait for the project to come to fix it" - Mr. Tran Van Mao said, at the same time requesting Thanh Chuong district to have appropriate solutions to ensure the legitimate interests of the people.
Regarding the issue of support for people in mountainous areas, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation said that at the recent session, the National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the Master Plan for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030. When the Resolution comes into effect, it will contribute to solving difficulties for people in mountainous and ethnic minority areas.
The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will record and fully synthesize other opinions and recommendations of voters to reflect to the relevant agencies and submit to the National Assembly in upcoming sessions.
