Voters of Thai Hoa town: 'Multi-level marketing has crept into every corner'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 8, implementing the program of meeting voters after the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly, National Assembly deputies including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Mong Van Tinh - official of Que Phong District Youth Union and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - doctor of the General Hospital of the Northwest Nghe An region had a meeting with voters in Thai Hoa town.
At the conference, after hearing the announcement of the results of the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly, voters of Thai Hoa town expressed many opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly deputies.
Ms. Dang Thi Nhan, a voter of Quang Tien ward, recommended to the National Assembly that it is necessary to carefully review large projects invested by foreign countries to avoid paying environmental costs and affecting the country's national defense and security.
Voter Vo Minh Khai, block 250, Quang Tien ward requested information on the results of handling the case of Mr. Trinh Xuan Thanh's violations and the work of preventing and fighting corruption.

Mr. Cao Viet Mao, a voter from Forestry Processing Block 3, Quang Phong Ward, requested that the National Assembly have solutions to prevent and strictly handle the multi-level marketing situation.
"Currently, multi-level marketing has infiltrated even the most remote and rural areas with many tricks causing economic damage to many families," Mr. Mao reflected.
In addition, many voters also raised issues that need to be resolved soon, such as: policies for people with revolutionary contributions; health insurance support policies for patients with serious illnesses; resolving policies for frontline workers, youth volunteers, and victims of Agent Orange; compensation policies and resettlement support when the State reclaims land, etc.

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee received, recorded and explained the issues that voters of Thai Hoa town were interested in and reflected; at the same time, he said that he would summarize and propose to the National Assembly as soon as possible.
For recommendations under the authority of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee requested the Chairman of the People's Committee of the town to answer directly at the voter meeting.
