Voters of Thai Hoa town reflect on inadequacies in land management at agricultural and forestry farms.

Recommend many issues

At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the National Assembly deputies, Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education reported on the results of the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province at the session.

Next, in the spirit of democracy, frankness and responsibility, voters of Dong Hieu commune reflected many difficulties and inadequacies arising from practice, and proposed and recommended that the National Assembly, the Government and all levels and sectors pay attention to resolving them.

Voter Tran Xuan Tuong (Dong Hong hamlet) reflected that the price of gasoline has been continuously increasing recently and the Government has had a price stabilization policy, however, the implementation of this policy has been assigned to gasoline trading enterprises, which is not satisfactory. Voters requested the Government to consider amending Decree No. 83 on gasoline trading issued in 2014, abolishing the price stabilization fund through enterprises and needing to directly support users.

This voter also suggested that the National Assembly and the Government strengthen management of motorbike insurance business, given the current situation where insurance prices are not yet unified.

Voter Bui Thi Ngan (Phu Tien hamlet) proposed that the National Assembly and the Government reconsider increasing the retirement age; at the same time, she requested that the authorities ensure the rights of rubber tapping workers, as currently more than 200 workers of Dong Hieu Farm directly perform rubber tapping work, however, when applying the social insurance regime, it only applies to rubber care workers, so there is no hazardous regime.

Many voters reflected and proposed to the authorities that there should be measures and solutions to manage land in farms and forestry farms more effectively; at the same time, there should be mechanisms and policies on land, creating favorable conditions for people in developing agricultural economy and granting land use right certificates; and paying attention to properly resolving petitions and complaints from people, such as those related to the dairy cow breeding demonstration model of the old Nghia Dan district that has been going on for 15 years without being completely resolved.

Proposing Thai Hoa province and town to review and resolve issues under their authority

At the conference, representatives of a number of provincial and municipal departments and branches directly explained related issues within the responsibilities and authority of the branches and localities.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Defense and Security Committee also received the opinions and suggestions of voters and affirmed that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation is responsible for synthesizing, classifying and sending them to competent authorities for resolution.

Major General Tran Duc Thuan also directly explained voters' suggestions related to the policy of stabilizing gasoline prices; retirement policy to encourage workers, including freelance workers, to participate in social insurance.

Regarding voters' opinions on motorbike insurance, Major General Tran Duc Thuan said that he will recommend that all levels conduct research to better manage, ensure the rights and convenience of insurance participants, and avoid insurance fraud; at the same time, he hopes that each citizen will raise their awareness of obeying traffic laws, minimizing traffic accidents.

Delegate Tran Duc Thuan proposed that provincial departments and branches review and advise the Provincial People's Committee to resolve issues within their authority, and that Thai Hoa town pay attention to resolving issues within local authority.
