REFLECTING MANY THOUGHTS AND WISHES

At the conference, in a democratic and open atmosphere, voters of Cua Nam ward raised many recommendations to the National Assembly deputies and the Provincial People's Council. Mr. Le Viet Hung, Cua Nam ward highly appreciated the quality of the question and answer session at the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly. The questions and answers were all aimed at the benefit of the country and the people.

Regarding the petition, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cua Nam Ward suggested that the authorities need to strengthen inspection, examination, timely and strict handling of corruption cases, especially serious and complicated cases that the public is interested in such as the Viet A case...

Mr. Vinh also proposed that the National Assembly strengthen supervision of the implementation and compliance with laws in areas prone to corruption and negativity such as land management, mineral resources, construction investment, and financial management.

At the conference, many voters also suggested that the Government and relevant ministries and branches have appropriate policies to adjust gasoline and oil prices in the face of the current situation of high prices causing difficulties for people's lives.

Along with that, voters also proposed to standardize textbooks, at the same time re-study the education reform program in a reasonable manner; have a plan to manage and print appropriate books for education.

Many voters also mentioned the quality of clean water in the area and requested the province to direct inspection and handling so that the water supply company can fix it to ensure the quality of domestic water for the people.

Regarding other issues, voter Le Van Giap, as well as many voters, mentioned the need to remove obstacles to grant Land Use Rights Certificates to households in collective housing areas.

On the other hand, many opinions also raised difficulties and pressures in life related to suspended planning in the area, especially planning in the Vinh ancient citadel area.

Voters also raised the issue of the construction of Cua Nam Ward Kindergarten, apartment buildings not following the planning, lack of trees and public works;Land auction policies are not strict, leading to high prices, making it difficult for people to access;…

Leaders of relevant departments and sectors such as: Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment... answered questions related to the State management responsibilities of the sector.

RELYING ON PEOPLE TO PREVENT CORRUPTION AND NEGATIVITY

Responding to voters' recommendations on the field of education and training, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that regarding the general education program, the National Assembly assigned the Government to direct the Ministry of Education and Training to make History a compulsory subject according to the majority of recommendations from voters and the people.

Along with that, the National Assembly assigned the Government to direct the Ministry of Education and Training to review all costs for compiling, printing, and publishing textbooks in the direction of reducing book prices to an acceptable level to suit the conditions of the majority of people.

Regarding recommendations on land policy, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said that at the recent 5th Central Conference, 13th tenure, major policies on this content were decided.

First of all, a specialized resolution of the Party Central Committee will be issued to provide orientation for land policy in the new period; at the same time, orient to accelerate the progress of amending and supplementing the 2013 Land Law.

On the other hand, the Central Government affirms that there is a principle of landLand owned by the people and managed by the State; butwill alsoclarify between the people's land ownership rights, unified State management and the usage rights of organizations and individuals.

Along with that, the State will recover, compensate and resettle organizations and individuals who legally use land according to the State's policy when using land for national defense, security, public works, national interests and social interests. Persistently fight against group interests, against planning and must promote democracy, publicity and transparency in the process of planning, management and land use, especially in the implementation of investment projects for socio-economic development.

Regarding the fight against corruption and negativity, which is of great interest to voters, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said: It is expected that by the end of June 2022, the Central Steering Committee on corruption and negativity prevention and control will conduct a review of its activities after 10 years of establishment; thereby, identifying new policies and solutions, but the general policy is still to be resolute, relentless, without rest, without forbidden areas and without exceptions in the work of corruption and negativity prevention and control.

Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said: After 10 years of establishment, the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity has directly supervised and directed 177 cases and 134 incidents; of which, 120 cases/1,083 defendants have been investigated and tried with very strict but also very humane sentences; accordingly, 37 defendants are Central officials.

At the recent 5th Central Conference, 13th tenure, the Central Committee also reached a high consensus on establishing a Steering Committee for anti-corruption and negativity at the provincial level.

Regarding this issue, related to the case of Viet A Company, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien affirmed before the electiontri: The Party and State have expressed very high political determination, handling it strictly, with no forbidden zones, regardless of who the person is.

Discussing with voters about the spirit and drastic viewpoint of the Party and State on the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; at the same time, to achieve even greater results in this work, Mr. Do Van Chien shared: The general spirit is to promote the people's right to mastery, relying on the people to prevent and combat corruption and negativity.

Regarding the issue of domestic water quality in Vinh city, sharing the concerns of voters and people, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has directed this issue. The authorities are investigating the cause of the domestic water not being safe as reported in the past.
