Dien Chau Town Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term

Over the past 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2015-2020 term, the Dien Chau Town Party Committee has focused on leading the implementation and achieving many important achievements in various fields. The urban appearance is increasingly prosperous, worthy of being the economic center of the district.

The important economic indicators basically met and exceeded the Resolution's targets. The economic growth rate reached 18.4%, the total production value in 5 years reached over 880 billion VND, meeting the Congress's target. The average income per capita in 2015 was 25.6 million VND, now it is 50 million VND/year. The total budget revenue in 5 years is over 46.7 billion VND, an increase of nearly 10% compared to the beginning of the term.

Cultural and social activities have flourished, the quality of comprehensive education has been improved. 3 schools have maintained the title of National Standard Schools. The people of the town have carried out the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" well with the rate of cultural families reaching 92%, 5/5 blocks achieving the title of cultural block. The rate of poor households has decreased from 2.18% to 0.45%.

The town Party Committee focused on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, building a clean and strong political system. The Party Committee admitted 20 new Party members, successfully reorganized the apparatus, and reduced 5 non-professional positions.

To be worthy of being the economic and political center of the district, in the new term, the Party Committee continues to exploit the potential and strengths of the locality in conjunction with replicating models to bring the town to continue to develop comprehensively. Accordingly, priority is given to completing the targets, in which priority is given to developing services and trade, accounting for 77%, raising the average income per capita to 70-75 million VND/year, with 92-94% of cultural families every year. The Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and organizations and unions are classified as having completed their tasks well or better.

The Congress elected the new term Party Executive Committee of Dien Chau town, consisting of 14 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Thi Van Kieu was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Town Party Committee for the new term.
