During the 2015 - 2020 term, the Dien Quang Commune Party Committee focused on leading and directing the people to develop the socio-economy based on the potential and strengths of the locality, contributing to achieving and exceeding the Resolution's targets. Up to now, the average economic growth rate of the commune has reached 7.8%. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction: Small-scale industry - industry, services reached 83.5%, agriculture 16.5%. Average income per capita in 2019 reached 36 million VND/year (an increase of 4 million VND compared to the congress' target); the poverty rate in 2019 decreased to 0.83%, down over 5% compared to the beginning of the term. In 2017, the commune met the New Rural standards, the commune continued to build 23 works, completed infrastructure, and made efforts to build an advanced New Rural commune.

Along with economic development, the cultural and social fields in Dien Quang commune have many improvements. The rate of cultural families reached 85.6%; 5/5 hamlets have achieved the title of Cultural Unit. The quality of comprehensive education is high. The whole commune has 244 workers working in other countries, over 40% of the commune's workers have received vocational and professional training. The Party Committee has focused on leading and implementing the Party building work, during the term, 69 Party members were awarded the Party Badge. The Party Committee has completed its tasks well for 4 consecutive years, and excellently completed its tasks for 1 year...
