Speed ​​up the progress of site clearance for key projects in Vinh city

On the afternoon of March 19, under the chairmanship ofComrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Steering Committee for compensation and support for land acquisition and resettlement of Vinh City organized a working session to assess the implementation of compensation, support for land acquisition and resettlement of key projects in the city.

Currently, in Vinh City, there are a number of key projects being implemented such as: Vinh - Cua Lo connecting road construction project; traffic road project connecting National Highway 1A from Quan Bau intersection to Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Avenue; VSIP industrial and urban area project in Hung Chinh commune; upgrading and renovating area B - Quang Trung apartment complex project; Vinh International Airport upgrading project; Le Nin road construction project in Quan Bau ward and a number of residential land subdivision planning areas.

In recent times, Vinh City has vigorously implemented compensation and support for land acquisition and resettlement to speed up the progress of projects. However, the projects are still facing many difficulties and obstacles. Some households do not agree with the compensation and support plans for land acquisition and resettlement, and do not accept the compensation prices; the inventory, counting, confirmation of land use origin, and cemetery relocation face many difficulties.

Meanwhile, the city has not yet received detailed planning for a number of key projects in the province and has not yet had boundary markers handed over on site...

At the meeting, after listening to the steering committee members report on specific problems at each project, Vinh City Party Secretary Phan Duc Dong requested departments, offices, units, wards and communes with projects to focus on site clearance work to ensure progress according to the requirements of the Provincial People's Committee. Assign specific tasks to each comrade, each department, office and unit. Mobilize the entire political system to focus on the work, combine propaganda with advocacy from mass organizations to wards and communes. At the same time, develop a plan to be ready to enforce against households that are slow and resistant to projects.
