Normally, every day, hundreds, even thousands of visitors come to worship and sightsee. Currently, after 2 days of stopping Vinh City to implement Directive 19, Emperor Quang Trung Temple is seeing fewer visitors, but the Temple Management Board is still carefully preparing epidemic prevention conditions for visitors.

At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan), there are also not many tourists coming to visit. This is a common situation in relic sites, scenic spots and tourist attractions in the area.Vinh Cityand surrounding areas.

The Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument area is quite bustling, but mainly city residents come to exercise and play sports in the early morning and late afternoon. Tourists and people from other areas have not yet returned to visit and organize cultural activities.

Although there are few visitors, all historical sites and scenic spots strictly follow measures to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic. The Quang Trung Temple Management Board has hung banners reminding visitors to make health declarations; arranged hand sanitizer stations and health declarations right at the temple entrance. The Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum has also arranged hand sanitizer stations, arranged people to measure body temperature and required visitors to wear masks and keep a distance according to regulations...

Management BoardHo Chi Minh Squareand Uncle Ho Monument also regularly broadcasts propaganda programs on measures to limit the risk of spreading the Covid-19 epidemic. Security forces are always on duty to promptly remind and handle people who exercise and play sports without strictly following the "5K" recommendations.

Don't be subjective or negligent.

Like historical sites, scenic spots and tourist attractions, accommodation establishments are also in a state of “starving for guests”. According to Mr. Phan Van T., owner of a hotel in Vinh City, after a long period of suspension of operations to prevent and fight the epidemic, the first two days afterdistanceThere are still no guests booking rooms. Therefore, we are still operating at a low level, assigning employees to work every other day to save costs.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Q., manager of a large hotel in Quang Trung ward, said that the hotel has a total of 120 rooms, normally reaching an occupancy rate of around 80%. After the social distancing measures were lifted in Vinh City, the number of rooms booked was only 11, or less than 10%, mainly regular guests coming to the city to conduct and sign business transactions.

The above mentioned number is really too small compared to the time before the epidemic, but according to Mr. Q., that is lucky compared to many others.accommodationother in the area. Because many hotels are still deserted, no one has contacted to book rooms, if this situation continues, it will seriously affect business operations.

Even in Cua Lo coastal urban area, most hotels and motels are closed due to lack of guests. Mr. Vo Van Tho - Head of the town's Department of Culture and Information said: "The epidemic situation in Vinh city and Cua Lo town has basically been controlled but there are still no tourists. On weekends, people in Vinh often go swimming, some people use food services and then return, there are no guests staying overnight".

The number of guests is low but accommodation establishments have prepared preventive measures.Covid-19 epidemic.Mr. Nguyen Hong Q. directed employees to regularly measure body temperature, disinfect hands and make health declarations every time customers enter and exit. At the same time, when making transactions, they must wear masks and ensure to keep distance to avoid the risk of spreading the disease.

Other hotels and motels have also done a good job of preventing the epidemic, because if the epidemic continues to be well controlled in the coming time and tourism business activities return to normal, the number of guests will certainly improve step by step.

“Although the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled in Vinh City and neighboring areas, we continue to require tourist attractions, historical sites and accommodation establishments to strictly implement regulations on disease prevention and control. In particular, thoroughly implement the “5K” recommendations to limit the risk of infection, absolutely do not be subjective or negligent.”
