The worrying thing is that the total pig herd in the commune is relatively large, with 2,500 pigs. In addition to small-scale pig farms, the commune has 4 farms and over 30 family farms. If the disease is not controlled, it will cause unpredictable consequences.
Currently, Hung Nguyen District Veterinary Station has provided Hung Tien Commune with 24 liters of chemicals, and the locality has also allocated funds to buy 1 ton of lime to strengthen epidemic control.
At Hoang Mai town, test results showed that the dead pig at Mrs. Tran Thi Nam's family, block 7, Mai Hung ward (Hoang Mai town) tested positive for African swine fever. Local authorities destroyed 2 sows with a total weight of 270 kg.

Mai Hung is the third locality in Hoang Mai town to have African swine fever. It is worth mentioning that this locality is adjacent to Quynh Thien and Quynh Di wards, which have previously had outbreaks, so the possibility of the disease spreading is very high.
* Nghi Loc announces another outbreak
