Dien Phuc strives to build an advanced new rural commune

This spring, coming to Dien Phuc commune, Dien Chau district, we can feel the new vitality and strong changes. The highlight is the synchronous investment in infrastructure, the main traffic system, village roads and alleys of the commune are asphalted and concreted, spacious and flat, convenient for people to travel and develop services. The irrigation system and internal roads have been concreted, creating favorable conditions for people to produce agriculture. The material and spiritual life of the people has also been increasingly improved.

Previously, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dien Phuc commune issued a Resolution and Plan to implement advanced new rural construction in the period of 2021-2025; established a Steering Committee headed by the Party Secretary; established a Management Board for the construction program.advanced new ruralThe Steering Committee is headed by the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee. According to the roadmap, the Steering Committee assigns specific tasks to each unit and individual in charge of the criteria; directs sub-committees to implement the plan to build a commune that meets advanced NTM standards, striving to complete an advanced new rural commune in 2023.

The program of building advanced new rural areas in Dien Phuc commune has recently received the attention and direction of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, and the participation of the entire political system from the commune to the hamlet; most people have responded in agreement, actively donated land, and broken down their own fences to expand roads with the spirit of voluntarily donating land wherever the road is opened. Typically, in Trang Than hamlet, many households have donated land to build roads.

Mr. Mai Duc Cuong - Chairman of Dien Phuc Commune People's Committee said: In recent years, promoting internal resources and support from superiors, Dien Phuc Commune has invested in many projects to upgrade and build synchronous infrastructure. In the past time, Tien Dat Company Limited has implemented the construction of many projects in the commune, land auction infrastructure areas synchronized with road, electricity, and drainage canal systems.

The asphalting has basically been carried out on the main roads connecting the hamlets, the Phuc Nguyen drainage canal system has been upgraded to drain floods for Dien Phuc commune and 2 neighboring communes, the school system has been completed and 5/6 new cultural houses have been built to ensure the quality of the works... For the projects managed by the commune level, we have focused on mobilizing the maximum allocated budget, promoting socialization to make final settlements in the years, and limiting outstanding debts.

In recent years, the commune has focused on proposing solutions to increase people's income through vocational training for rural workers, regularly promoting and orienting industries and occupations that are likely to have high incomes.

The commune promotes the development of clean agricultural products as satellites linking the chain with establishments and enterprises in the production and consumption of agricultural products and the speed of shifting the rural labor structure; creating more new, stable jobs with high income for people. Specifically, the commune has built a model of producing high-quality rice fields to increase economic efficiency on the cultivated area.

With the advantage of transportation, the commune exploits the advantage of National Highway 7 and National Highway 1A passing through the area, promoting strong development in the field of commercial services and ancillary industries, such as trading in gasoline, wood, civil carpentry, construction materials, etc.

Currently, Dien Phuc is focusing on building advanced new rural areas in the direction of comprehensively improving the quality of criteria, aiming at the goal of constantly improving the quality of material and spiritual life for the people; in which the State plays a guiding and supporting role, and the people are the main subjects.

The commune's new rural construction has a spacious and modern economic and social infrastructure, meeting the needs of people's lives. Criteria in the fields of education, health, culture, security and order are also improved to be consistent with the planning and plans for local economic and social development.

Thanks to the continuous efforts, Dien Phuc commune has changed dramatically, the economic growth rate is increasing, the total income of the whole commune in 2022 reached 240 billion VND, an increase of more than 40 billion VND over the same period, the average income per capita reached 49.8 million VND/year.

With the determination of the local Party Committee and government in directing and implementing the plan to build advanced new rural areas and the solidarity of the people, it is expected that Dien Phuc commune will complete the targets, bringing the locality to the finish line of advanced new rural areas according to the sustainable development roadmap.
