Delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane Capital (Laos) offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 20, a delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane Capital, Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited the Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site, Nam Dan District, to offer incense and flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation of the Vientiane City People's Council was led by Comrade Lam-phoy Si-ac-kha-chan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vientiane Capital People's Council. On the side of Nghe An province, there was Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the provincial People's Council committees.
At the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane Capital and Nghe An Province held a flower offering ceremony, offering incense and offering gifts to express deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement.
He devoted and sacrificed his life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.


The great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos developed from the traditional relationship founded by President Ho Chi Minh, Prince Suphanuvong, President Kaysone Phomvihan and the revolutionary leaders of the two countries, and has been painstakingly cultivated by generations of leaders, revolutionary soldiers and people of the two countries, developing into a loyal, pure, special, exemplary and rare relationship, which is an invaluable asset of the people of the two countries. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "Vietnam and Laos, our two countries/ The love is deeper than the Red River and the Mekong River".

President Kay-Son Phom-vi-han also affirmed: "In the history of world revolution, there have been shining examples of proletarian internationalism, but nowhere and never before has there been such a special, long-lasting, and comprehensive solidarity and fighting alliance"; "Mountains may wear away, rivers may dry up, but the Laos-Vietnam friendship will forever be more steadfast than mountains and rivers".

In particular, since the two countries carried out the renovation process with many difficulties and challenges, but with the good tradition of the "special relationship" and under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the relationship between the two countries has been increasingly strengthened, expanded and achieved great victories.

The responsibility of the current and future generations of leaders, revolutionary soldiers and people of the two countries is to continue to build and promote the special and loyal relationship to jointly bring the two countries to increasingly sustainable development.


On this occasion, the working delegation of the People's Council of Vientiane capital and Nghe An province also visited and burned incense to commemorate the ancestors of President Ho Chi Minh at Chung Son temple, Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district.
The delegation also spent time visiting President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown and the Memorial House of the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic located within the Kim Lien Special National Historical Relic Site.
