Delegation of National Assembly of Nghe An province gives Tet gifts to poor people in Nghia Dan and Tan Ky districts

On the morning of January 13, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, including representatives: Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, made a working trip to visit, encourage and give Tet gifts to policy families, poor households, and those in difficult circumstances in Nghia Dan and Tan Ky districts.

Specifically, National Assembly deputies directly visited, encouraged, and presented Tet gifts to 80 policy families and poor households in Nghia Mai commune (Nghia Dan) and presented 80 gifts to policy families and poor households in Tien Ky commune (Tan Ky).

At the localities where the gifts were presented, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee of the National Assembly expressed his joy and excitement at the changes in the locality as well as the increasingly improved lives of the people. However, there are still difficult circumstances, struggling with life that need help and sharing from the community, especially during the Lunar New Year of the nation - Spring Quy Mao 2023.

Sharing with those in less fortunate circumstances and fates, Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security also affirmed that the Party, the State and society always pay attention to the work of gratitude and repayment; social security work, hunger eradication and poverty reduction with many practical, meaningful and regular actions and work to "leave no one behind".

Therefore, we hope that local Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, the business community and the people will continue to care for policy families, poor and disadvantaged households with understanding, sympathy and sharing to support families to rise up.
