Welcoming the investment 'wave' in Thai Hoa town

According to Mr. Mai Xuan Vinh - Deputy Head of Economic Department, Thai Hoa Town People's Committee, the above projects were noted by enterprises with the Town People's Committee and conducted field surveys, adjusted planning and completed procedures according to legal regulations. It is expected that when implemented in practice, the above projects will create a great driving force to promote socio-economic development in Thai Hoa Town.

Up to now, there are 275 operating enterprises in the town, an increase of 15 enterprises compared to the beginning of 2022 and 1 newly established cooperative, bringing the total number of cooperatives in operation in the town to 24.

In Nghia My Industrial Cluster, up to now, about 30% of the area has been assigned to enterprises and investors to implement projects. In the first 6 months of the year, Thai Hoa town attracted 5 investment projects in Nghia My Industrial Cluster, which were approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of 654.55 billion VND.

Along with attracting investment from enterprises, Thai Hoa town also included in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and the 2022 investment plan a list of 37 newly started projects under the town's authority, with a total investment of 187 billion VND.

The town also advised the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to adjust the project of the road to the Waste Treatment Area, the D3 longitudinal road. Complete investment procedures for projects under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee such as: Bau Sen Park Project, the road connecting National Highway 48D through the gate of the Western Vocational College, Khe Den Bridge, Road 02 at the beginning of Quang Phong Ward bridge and the National Highway 48 bypass through the town center.

At the same time, focus on directing the acceleration of the construction progress of transitional works. Complete a number of traffic works connecting to the Dong Hieu urban center (phase 1); repair and upgrade Thong Nhat reservoir; renovate and install additional lighting systems on National Highway 48 through Hamlet 1, Nghia Thuan commune...

These results are the efforts of the entire political system of the town in attracting and promoting investment to implement Resolution No. 02-NQ/TU dated July 2, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on building and developing Thai Hoa town into a central urban area of ​​the Northwest region of Nghe An.

With new policies and mechanisms, Thai Hoa town is welcoming a wave of investment, creating momentum for development. On that basis, all levels and sectors of the town are determined and making the greatest efforts to gradually invest and connect infrastructure, while promoting investment attraction, contributing to the drastic and effective implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, and the Town Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
