Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam happily celebrated the Great Unity Day with the Thai people in Quy Hop district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 13, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission attended the National Great Unity Day with the Thai people in Ken hamlet, Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district. Also attending were representatives of the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and local leaders.

Xom Ken is a remote hamlet of Chau Loc commune, with a natural area of 766 hectares with 185 households and 771 people. 99% of the hamlet is Thai ethnic group, living together in solidarity and harmony for generations.
With the attention of the Party, the State, the Party committees and authorities at all levels, in recent times, the people have effectively carried out emulation movements. The people of the residential area have united, promoted diligence and creativity in production, exploited the potential and strengths in the area, overcome difficulties and strive to build an increasingly civilized residential area.
Thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the resolution of the Commune Party Committee, the program of coordinated action of the superior Fatherland Front and the resolution of the Party Cell on socio-economic development, village security and order, and sustainable poverty reduction.
By implementing the policy of hunger eradication and poverty reduction well, the lives of people in the village have gradually stabilized. The proportion of well-off and rich households has reached 46%.
In the process of building new rural areas, people have donated land and contributed to the construction of facilities and rural transport infrastructure. In 2023 alone, people in the hamlet contributed working days, cash, and materials to build 600m of inter-household roads; renovate and upgrade 120m of intra-field roads with an amount of more than 7 million VND; people donated 0.88 ha of land and more than 50 trees of various kinds.

The villagers also actively implement the regulations on civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, festivals and civilized behavior. Each household is responsible for building a happy family, contributing to building a healthy and safe residential area. Thanks to that, in 2023, the number of households achieving the title of Cultural Family is 86, an increase of 25% compared to 2022.
Sharing the joy with the people of Ken hamlet, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Standing Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission acknowledged and commended the hamlet's achievements in recent years.

At the same time, we hope that the Party Committee, government and people will continue to carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" well.take care of the cause of national unity. At the same time, create social consensus to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, help each other develop production, gradually improve living standards, contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic goals, and build new rural areas of the locality.
The community needs to promote democracy, maintain discipline, and properly implement the grassroots democracy regulations and community conventions and covenants. The entire population must unite to participate in the movement to prevent crime, social evils, and protect national security.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam presented a gift worth 5 million VND to the Ken hamlet residential area and 10 gifts worth 10 million VND to 10 poor households in the locality.
On this occasion, Quy Hop district presented a solidarity house worth 50 million VND to a family in particularly difficult circumstances in the area; gifts worth 3 million VND to the residential area and 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to 10 poor households.
